Reliability test example description

Relevant test standard documents-- EIA/TIA-455-3A/GR-1221/ GR-1209/ IEC 68-2-38

(1). Temperature Cycling Test

      Temperature:  -40°C to 70°C (±2°C) for CO  -- user-defined

                            -40°C to 85°C (±2°C) for RT/UNC  --  user-defined

Dwell Time at Extremes: ≥15 minutes – user-defined

Number of Cycles:   100 pass/fail, 500 for information for CO500 pass/fail, 1000 for information for RT/UNC




Cyclic Moisture Resistance Test


Temperature Profile: Refer to below profile  -- user-defined

Relative Humidity: 85-95% at 75°C; uncontrolled at  25°C & -40°C

Dwell Time at Extremes: 3 to 16 Hours user-defined

Number of Cycles: 5 complete cycles (each complete cycle has 5 sub-cycles)
