Product Overview

In the detection and maintenance of fiber optic network lines, the traditional method is generally to determine whether the receiving equipment itself is faulty or the fiber optic link is faulty after the maintenance personnel receive the alarm signal from the business equipment; If the fiber optic fails, use OTDR (Optical Time Domain Reflectometer) for troubleshooting and maintenance. Because fiber optic lines in scenarios such as operators or data centers carry a large amount of network data, once a failure occurs, the losses are enormous; However, traditional maintenance methods consume high time and labor costs, have low levels of automation, and only begin maintenance when faults affect data transmission, always in a passive state.

In this challenge, Dimension Technology provides an online monitoring OT-300 optical time-domain reflectometer. The OT-300 OTDR is a modular design that adds online monitoring function on the basis of the portable OTDR series. It can be embedded as a module into terminal devices to test the overall performance of optical fibers, link loss, and locate fault points in real-time. Report faults promptly when detected, shorten the time from discovery to maintenance, reduce operational losses, reduce staff burden, and achieve automated monitoring.
The OT-300 optical time-domain reflectometer has a built-in optical switch module that can be adapted to different single/multimode MPO fibers. It integrates optical power measurement, visual fault localization, light source, and OTDR functions, and can also be paired with EasyGet; Wifi wireless fiber end face detector is used to achieve end face detection function.
