Dimension:Verification method for the accuracy of return & loss measurement
In the performance testing of optical passive devices, especially jumpers and connectors, the insertion loss and return loss values are crucial indicators. Currently, the insertion loss testing of insertion loss instruments is very mature, but the return loss testing often fluctuates greatly due to data retesting. When the return loss value is less than -60dB, it is difficult to ensure the accuracy of its test value. The high-performance winding free insertion and return loss tester independently developed by Dimension Technology solves common problems encountered in insertion and return loss testing, such as low testing efficiency, small testing range, need for winding, and inability to measure short optical fibers.
